About Me

 Hi, my name is Walker Howell! I am a student at Freed-Hardeman University. I am majoring in Bible with an emphasis in Ministry. I was born and raised in Conyers, Georgia by my mom and my dad. My loving and supporting family has encouraged me and guided me along life's journey. 

 Throughout my childhood, I primarily grew up in the church. My family was and still is well-rooted in their faith. Therefore, I was expected to attend every church service whether or not I liked attending church that day. I loved church growing up. I grew up in such a loving church family that helped me grow and develop into the young adult I am today.

While I was growing up, a number of people had a big influence on my life.  My biggest influencers came from my favorite summer camp, Camp Inagehi. Through this camp, I was able to grow closer to people I had never met before, but ultimately, I was able to draw closer to God every time I attended. On July 7th, 2011, at Camp Inagehi, I decided to put Christ on in baptism. I understood that I wanted to be a disciple of Him from that point forward. 

 After my baptism in 2011, my foundation in the faith grew exponentially stronger. I started to realize what Christianity was all about and the true meaning and value of the Gospel. Over the course of the following ten years, I have developed such a strong love and passion for the Gospel and I want everyone around me to be able to have the same opportunity I had to hear the Good News. This news changed my life, and I know it has the power to change yours too!
